PGA Tour: Matt Every suspended for breaching policy on drug use

For violating their policy on medication 19, the PGA Tour has handed matt Every a two-wheeled suspension.
Each, a yearlong PGA Tour winner, tested positive but is a substance under the anti-doping policy of the PGA Tour.
The PGA Tour announced the suspension Friday, so Every will miss another three occasions and wont return before the Sony Open in January.
In a statement sent to Golf Channel, Every explained:Ive been prescribed cannabis for a mental health condition by my physician whom has managed my medical care for 30 years. It has been ascertained that I am neither an acceptable candidate to utilize prescriptionZ category medication nor benzodiazepines.
Additionally, these classes of drugs can be highly addictive and dangerous to the body as well as mind. Definitely, the safest and best treatment , cannabis has proven to be, for me.
I do not concur with it for several reasons, mainly for my overall well-being, but Im excited for what lies ahead in my entire life and livelihood. Throughout the past couple of years I have made strides and I understand my best remains facing me. I cant wait to come back better than ever in January.
The 35-year-old is the next player this year to be suspended for a drug of misuse, after Robert Garrigus three-month ban in March for use of marijuana.
Every has full playing status after ending last season 86th with the American starting this campaign for Children Open and a end at the Houston Open.
