Ella Clark returns to Loughborough Lightning for another Vitality Superleague season

With Vitality Roses goal attack Ella Clark returning to the franchise loughborough Lightning have made their first signing of this season.
Clark will also compete for Leicester Riders women’s basketball aspect throughout the effort.
Having showcased in Lightning’s 2017 and 2018 aspect that saw them pipped at the place in the Grand Final in two decades, Clark will aspire to play a part in the upcoming season.
“It feels really great to register for Lightning for one more year and I can not wait to get the season started,” stated the 27-year-old.
“I’m hoping we can build on last year’s campaign, we dropped a few important players moving into 2019 therefore that it took some time for us to construct and adjust as a reasonably new squad so I’m looking forward to continuing on that travel and pushing further next season.”
Head coach Sara Bayman spoke in the squad of her significance and is delighted with Clark’s devotion.
“I am happy that Ella has committed to Lightning for a year ago. Despite playing with basketball well this year, she was eager to remain at Lightning and I think the two sports really can match each other,” explained Bayman.
“Ella’s mix with different players at the attacking end improved throughout last season and her calmness assists the team in stress situations.”
